Registration & Journey

Will there be an option to attend EPNS virtually, or are the presentations/posters only accessible by attending live?

To facilitate networking and enhance learning opportunities, the EPNS Congress in Munich will be a fully in-person event. There will be no stream or recording of the sessions.

Where do I find information about travel to and around Munich?

You will find all you need to know on Travel & HotelAlternatively, you can come to visit the Munich Tourism stand on site.

Is there free public transportation available?

The public transportation will not be free.

Can I register at short notice?

Yes. Registrations are only possible online. On site, you will find our service counter (Congress Office) at the main entrance, which can be contacted in case of problems.

Be aware that the number of attendees at the networking events is limited and may be fully booked.

What will happen if my VISA application has been declined, would I get the money back?

According to our general Terms and conditions, a VISA refusal is no reason for a refund of the congress fee paid in advance.

How do I qualify for the discounted EPNS member delegate rate?

You must be a member of the EPNS who has paid the 2025 EPNS membership fee. If you have any questions, please email info@epns.info.

Where do I park? Are there any discounted parking tickets?

There are no discounts for car-parking.

The nearest car park is the “Parkhaus West”. Follow the signs on site and not your sat nav.

Which entrance do I take on site? What do I need to have ready?

Please come to the north entrance of the ICM – International Congress Center Messe München (Am Messesee 6, 81829 München).

Please have your eTicket or Intercongress Card at hand. You will receive your eTicket by email one week prior to the congress.

What is the admission procedure? What documents do I need to bring with me?

You will need your eTicket, which you received by email. You will find your QR code on the eTicket, which you can use to print out your name badge.

Please always carry your name badge with you.

Where can I get my name badge and lanyard?

Please bring your eTicket (on an electronic device or in printed form) with you on arrival. Scan the code at the badge printer near the entrance to receive your name badge, which can be used as an environmental friendly reusable name badge. You can also get the matching lanyard here.

You are running late and want to attend a session directly? Simply print out your name badge later.

Programme & Events

Will there be a congress app?

Yes, the congress app is the same app as in Prague. Search for “EPNS” in the App Store or Google Play Store. To join the app please use the password EPNS2025.

Will there be a printed congress programme?

Yes, our pocket guide with daily overviews and all-important information will be available onsite. The detailed programme is available at any time in the congress app and in the web programme on the congress website.

Will there be an abstract publication?

Yes. The EPNS abstracts will be published on the EPNS website in pdf format. They are also available in the web programme. The ePoster will be shown in the ePoster exhibition.

Where do I hand in my presentation? What should I look out for in the speaker preparation room?

Please hand in your presentation at the speaker preparation room. The room is located in the foyer on the 1st floor. Please hand in your presentation at least three hours before the start of the respective session or the day before. It is mandatory to include a slide with a conflict of interest statement in each presentation.

Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive with you. Speakers are requested to sign a consent form that a pdf version of their presentation may be uploaded to the EPNS website after the congress.

Will there be a Welcome Reception?

Yes, on Tuesday, 08 July 2025 at 8 p.m. in the exhibition area. For more Information, please click here. It is free of charge.

Will there be a Networking event?

Yes, on Thursday, 10 July 2025 at 7.30 p.m. at the Brainlab Tower® (Olof-Palme-Str. 9, 81829 Munich).

Will there be a Young EPNS Night?

Yes, on Friday, 11 July 2025 at 7 p.m. at Max-Emanuel-Brauerei (Nordendstr. 4, 80799 Munich).

How can I get my certificate of attendance?

Your participation will be recorded by every scan. After the end of the congress, you will receive an e-mail containing the link to download your certificates.

Exhibition & Service

Where will the exhibition take place?

The accompanying industrial exhibition will take place at the foyer on the ground and 1st floor. You will find an overview of the exhibiting companies in the pocket guide, in the congress app and on our congress website.

Will there be industry symposia?

Yes, the industry symposia will take place in the lecture halls.

Where can I get something to eat and drink?

You will find various free catering services in the exhibition area during coffee and lunch breaks. Water is available at all times. During the official breaks, tasty snacks for small appetites will also be available there and free of charge.

Is there kosher food?

The caterer cannot provide kosher food.

Is there a wardrobe/cloakroom?

Yes, on the ground floor of the foyer, directly after the entrance area. The wardrobe/cloakroom is guarded and free of charge.
